BLEUE BURNHAM HONEY

This year we started keeping honeybees and we now have Bleue Burnham honey. Our wild and raw honey is made from nectar gathered from the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park, where our hive is located. The floral composition of the national park consists of a varied selection of wild flower, but predominant flowers include Elderflower (Sambucas Nigra), Blackberry​ Flower (Rubus Fruticosus) and White Clover (Trifolium Repens).

Being raw means that the honey has not been mixed, pasteurised, treated, heated or gone through any process that might diminish its natural health properties. It is rich in the natural nutrients and beneficial compounds that have been gathered and created by the honeybees.

This honey was made with the guidance and generosity of Generation Press, Jessica and Sarah. The honey was harvested in August 2024.
